Julian Assange Makes Comey An Offer He Can’t Refuse


James Comey does not like WikiLeaks and he hates Julian Assange. If it was up to Comey, Assange would be in jail. For a long time.

Comey told the Senate Judiciary Committee on May 3 that WikiLeaks publisher Julian Assange had not been charged with any crimes or been apprehended because he was under the protection of the Ecuadorian government in London.

Comey made clear those flimsy walls were all that kept Assange safe. That he was gunning for him and would take him if given the chance.

And Comey is not alone in his hatred of Julian Assange and WikiLeaks. The list of DC politicians who hate him is huge. As is the list that loves him.

It completely depends on which side of the leak you are on that determines your feelings for Assange.

That said, most of the haters agree with Senator Ben Sasse (R-NE) discussing the difference between WikiLeaks and journalism,

“To my mind it crosses a line when it moves from being about trying to educate a public and instead just becomes about intelligence porn, frankly, just pushing out information about sources and methods without regard to interest.”

So, it came as a shock to Comey, Sasse, and everyone in Washington when Julian Assange dropped a James Comey bombshell.
